Senior Years 10-12Students in the Senior Years are offered a
broad range of academic and vocational subjects and pathways to enable them to
access further education and/or training or employment at the end of Year
12.
Year 10 is a transition year preparing students for the selection of an appropriate course of study for Year 11 and 12. Religion continues to be a core subject studied by each student for a minimum of 2.5 hours per week. Where appropriate preparation for the senior years is built into the course Courses offered currently in Years 11 and 12 include: Study of Religion (2008 syllabus) QCAA Authority subject Religion and Ethics (2004 SAS) QCAA Authority registered subject Cert. III Christian Ministry and Theology (2014) Institute of Faith Education A work program based on the new syllabus in Religion and Ethics will be implemented for Year 11 in 2015. |
